Had on cask at a tap takeover.
L: Deep brown bordering black
S: Lots of pepper, almost enough to trigger a sneeze.
T: Malt and pepper. Which I guess is exactly what the beer is aiming to do
F: Feel was awesome for me. I love the taste of smoked beers but can't stand the afterfeel. The prominent pepper carries a borderline smoked beer taste, but doesn't carry the smoke linger. Went down smooth like a porter ought to.
O: Enjoyable, and would go for it again.
