Beer was enjoyed from tap at war water brewery in st. Clair michigan overlooking the river.
Look was a clear golden color with light head.
Smell was piney and floral.
Flavor was crisp, hoppy and delicious. Very drinkable beer at about 7 abv.
Mouthfeel was perfect, not too thick or thin. Perfect for drinking on a nice sunny day.
Overall a very enjoyable ipa, not too much but not too weak. All of danny boys beers are solid. Really enjoy warwater brewery, give them a try if you're in the neighborhood.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy medium golden/yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, melon, pear, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, melon, pear, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, cracker, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, melon, pear, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, cracker, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky/grainy, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Slight rinds. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink with the mellow bitterness/dryness. Nice hop vibrancy without being too malty. This claims to have all Mosaic hops. They don’t taste like them at all, but this was still very enjoyable all around.

An easy drinking IIPA, on the light side of that designation, with clean hop flavors of pine and mild citrus, some floral notes, and a nice, mildly bitter bite in the close. The malt backbone is powerful, biscuits and crackers. Not exceptional, but definitely a nice one to drink, and very easy on the palate.

Flirting with the upper limits of what's standard-strength IPA and what's imperial, the Danny Boy brewers wrap their minds around the Mosaic hop- one which is exotic in citrus, herb and spruce with a dry and bitter tilt.
Rock N Rolla rolls onto the nose with a bright citrus bouquet with herb, pine needle and a honey undercurrent. Golden and faintly hazy, the beer's frothy appearance leads into a refreshing taste of honeysuckle, grain sweetness and thin caramel.
In true IPA fashion, the sweetness drops out swiftly and the hops take command. Their citrusy taste is highlighted with white grapefruit, under-ripe orange, and light lemon. Trending bitter and less floral, the taste of citrus rinds are met with spicy pine resins, sassafras herb and a dry hint of cannabis.
Medium-light in body, the beer is remarkably dry for its strength. Its drying sappy, stemmy, grassy tastes and textures all act to lift the beer's weight and to crispen its malt impact. Without much sweetness in which to contend, the crisp cracker-like malts are no match for the beer's hoppy onslaught that closes its long bitter aftertaste.
