Copenhagen 6/9 2022. 33 cl tall slim can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. White can with a drawing of a Passion fruit and beet roots. As "Brewki Passionate Beet" with a ABV og 6,0.

Pours unclear murky orange with a small bubbly white head. Disappears almost immediately.

Aroma is medium intense with a fairly sweet odor of passion fruit mingling with subtle tart berries and citrus. Whiff of beetroot.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick and viscous, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate tart sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sweet undertone. Lingers shortly. Finish is rather dry.

Quite sweet for a Berliner Weisse. But not without charm.

 

On tap at CBC 2016 - day 2. Raspberries up front, followed by sweeter fruit like passion fruit, mango, papaya. A light fruit sourness. Excellent beer.

 

 

 

 

 

One of the highlights of Tampa Bay Beer Week. Available at Foeder for Thought and Huna Day 2016. A Mix of Beetroot and Passion fruit according to their description and it was awesome. Tons of passionfruit pours an attractive pink with big carbonation. It was a great go-to that week, especially with the heat.
