This was a different and very fruity IPA. Maybe a bit too much fruit juice for me but pretty good.
Look: hazy yellow with a white inch tall head. Juice like appearance.
Aroma: mango, grapefruit, hint of pine
Taste: It taste like an extra juicy New England IPA with lot's of mango but also perhaps peach and grapefruit, ending with a modest pine resin flavor.
Body/Overall: light to medium body, juicy

Opaque dark orange-peach brew, topped with an off-white colored head. Good size - about two fingers from a good pour - and excellent retention. Nice lacing.
Huge notes of mango and pineapple; peach, pine, caramel, grapefruit, and lemon; honey.
Probably the fruitiest fruit-added IPA I've ever, ever had, with pure and obvious mango flavor immediately impacting your palate. Grapefruit, peach, and mandarin orange from the hops quickly follow, but by mid-palate, a very strong, weedy dankness takes over. I don't know what hops were used, but I can definitely guess based on the dank quality alone.
Shockingly lively on the palate. A touch too active for a NE-style IPA; other than the opacity, this really just comes across as a fruit-added American IPA.
.....
Wait, this is literally the first beer they ever released? And this is what they put out? It's also worth noting that, for my first taste of their beer, I'm reviewing a DDH IPA that's over two months old! Consider me very impressed!
