Copenhagen 27/3 2024. 33 cl tall slim can from Beer Me webshop. A drawing of a fellow with a resemblance to Björn Ulvaeus with a crown on the can.

Pours clear dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary odor mingling with dark alcohol. Brown sugar, toffee and caramel. Dark bread. Whiff of plums and raisins soaked in sweet liqueur.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.

Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a disinterested undertone of sweet liqueur. Lingering. Finish is sugary without being cloying.

Björn packs a mean punch.

Chilled 33 cl can poured into a stemmed wine glass in Toulouse, France. Fine foam puddles up pretty quick above brown brew.
Sweet aroma of almost burnt caramel, toffee, a hint of coffee.
Taste leads with excellent caramel and toffee, finishes with a mild bitterness. As it warmed, it fell apart a little, ending as just sweet near-syrup.
Mouth is full but not dense. Low-mid carbonation.
Overall, a bargain at €4.00 per can, this is a good English BW that somehow works the senses better while drank cold. Good!

On draft at OnTap in Bern, Switzerland. Poured a dark, dark brown color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of toffee, sweet caramel, booziness and vanilla. Strong toffee and caramel with a sharp bitterness.
