Copenhagen 28/6 2022. 33 cl tall slim can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. A Swedish pennant on the can.
Pours clear, pale yellow with a huge white head. Stable. Settles as lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citric and hoppy fumes. Sweet pale malts and bread. Citrus and lemon. Fresh grass.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a citric twist. Lingers for at while. Finish is semi-dry.
Fine and not very watery pilsner.
