We havent brewed a black IPA for over a decade so it was about time to revisit this fantastic style! Roasted and chocolate notes meet American powerhouse hops and it sits just right in between a US IPA and a classic porter.

Pours a dark brown with fine tan head.
Smell is roasted and hoppy with notes of chocolate, pine, citrus and rye bread.
Taste is roasted and hoppy with a solid bitterness. Notes of chocolate, pine, grapefruit, rye bread and coffee.
Mouthfeel is medium smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice black IPA, well balanced between malty and hoppy.
