Romanian beer I believe, though I am not too sure from the label, as it just says "Roman".
Looks ok, not much head, but beautiful colour considering it's a "pils". Aroma is very unique and kind of strange. Similar to burnt toffee or sugar. Not my kind of aroma ; )
Taste is mega unique, I am trying to adjust to it. I am going to wait for it to warm up a bit and drink the whole bottle before the final review...
After warming up for 10 minutes (from 3 centigrade to I estimate about 5), it improves massively. It has a kind of smokey taste. This should be drunk after at least 15 minutes outside the fridge.
Still, I don't really like it. I think that most of these reviews and ratings are likely friends of the owners. Try Clusa IPA for the best Romanian experience.

500ml keg in Berăria H, Bucharest (18.90 lei):
Dark amber to Copper with a few bubbles through it & a frothy, creamy white coloured head with good retention. Sweet & slightly malty with some caramel & light pine on the nose, bread notes & a little biscuit too; nothing u unusual here with a few grassy hops to finish. The caramel & sweet malts carry over to the taste with grassy hops, biscuit & a little peppery spice - okay despite being a little basic. It's very fizzy & overly carbonated for me though, it got a little gassy nearer the end of the pint. The body was light & there's a subtle bitter tang at the end; okay at best.

Dark ruby colour with a sweet, dried-fruits smell. Relatively dense body.
The taste is mainly characterized by the sweet, caramel notes, with some honey and dried fruits in the aftertaste, accompanied by some phenol/ resin notes.
A well-made red lager, a tiny bit sweet for my taste, but still very decent.

Almost clear amber color with beige head. Aroma has earthy hops with toasted malt in the background and bread crust notes. Taste starts with toasted malt, bread crust, gets more bitter on the finish with earthy hop notes. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. Really decent amber lager overall.
