Tin Cannon Brewing Company

A small but interesting place with some bar seating high tables with stools. Good and very friendly service. They had 12 on tap when I visited with one bottled selection and a number of hard Kombuchas. The menu was about half IPA, but I sampled some less common styles, Dunkelweizen, Flanders Red, and a Milk Stout, all very enjoyable. I wasn't very crowded but I hear it does get packed some nights. one cool thing was they have beer coasters from around the world out on the tables. Definitely worth a visit.

 

If there's a better brewery on Earth, I haven't seen it. Beer? Incredible. Tap room? Don't let the office park out front fool you -- behind the front door hides shangri la. Owners? Staff? All amazing human beings. The hand-made bar is pretty cool too. Want a tour of the brewery? Just ask. Want to find where the best food trucks in Northern VA are hiding? Look out the back door. Don't like the food truck? Call the Italian place around the corner -- they deliver.

 

Great service and some very tasty beers. The server immediately took our order after making some suggestions. I ended up getting a flight of four to sample their brews and ended up ordering a half-pint of the Unkel Dunkel which was a little sweeter than the dunkelweisens I've had in Germany but worth making a return trip to the brewery.

 

 

Located in an industrial building, cinderblock type building. Tasting room/bar was open and nice. Several TVs. Flights, pints, and growler fills. 12 beers on tap. All decent. Service was good.
