Cloudy, dirty gold color. Lasting presence for a head, even though it was small to start with. There's an initial ring of lace, the rest is very streaky.

Very dry starting flavor. This enhances the hop bittering notes. The malt is so dry that the swallow becomes straight bitterness from the ample hop presence. Good body with a muted carbonation. Overall, this is a bitter pale ale with all of the right elements.
