Pitch black color with a thin caramel head with short retention.
Nice aroma with predominant notes of licorice, roasted coffee beans, cocoa and some milk powder.
Relatively bold flavor with notes of piney and earthy hops, licorice, a grain of salt, charred wood, cola, spices and a bit of sour whole milk. Dry aftertaste with a lingering roasted note.
Rather light body with mild carbonation.
Ignoring the fact that it misses body, especially for an oatmeal stout, in turn it is highly drinkable, somewhat unique and with some bold roasted notes and being not sweet as some oatmeal can be.
