Very thin and only a mild tartness. The nature of the brewing process makes it more difficult to deliver day-in, day-out consistency. I definitely recommend using their syrup to sweeten and flavor the beer.

I had this twice a couple years ago. I didn't know it was seasonal. So, when I went this past weekend, I was very disappointed I couldn't get it. I VERY much enjoy Berliner Weiss, especially with the Raspberry syrup. It is just sweet enough for me, but is also malty. Not hoppy in my opinion.
