This was stop #1 along a pub crawl for my wife and I and two friends in the greater Tucson area. This brewery has been open less than a year, so they are still finding this customer base as well as getting their beers to a quality level that will cause customers to come back. The brewery is located in the back corner of a retail strip center at the edge of town. The tap room is very small, but we visited during the early afternoon on a week day, so we were the only customers.
New breweries frequently open their doors before the beer recipes are dialed-in with the new brewing equipment, and this is almost the situation here. They have 8 taps, but only 6 beers on the menu and one was out (the double IPA), and because they do not offer a sampler flight, we ordered 4 beers in pint glasses and shared. (We skipped one beer that was a Michelada which we weren't interested in trying since it was a flavored version of one of the beers that we did try.) Each beer was brewed close to its style, so we gave each of them an 'average' rating. According to the server, the DIPA is the most popular beer, so I'm guessing that it may be a notch above the others for quality.
