#30 on tap. White head. Lots of lace. Lightly cloudy golden color.

An okay ipa. Lightly tropical and juicy. Earthy floral. Bready malts. Not a NE but has characteristics.

Okay ipa.

Pours a hazed straw color with 3 fingers of eggshell colored head. Stellar head retention & lacing

S: Grassy

T: Bready, grassy, lemongrass turning a bit astringent up front. Some lemongrass as this warms, a little mango & some green melon once warm, along with leafy hops. Finishes grassy with some lime peel, slight dryness & a little pomelo

MF: Medium body, near zero carbonation, body thins as the carbonation picks up

Dissapointing, was hoping for more, not a great introduction to this brewery

Copper colored with a light haziness. There's a three quarter inch head of creamy and dense off white head. Moderate lacing. The aroma is of piney hops and light biscuity malt. I taste aggressively piney hops and biscuity light malt. The mouth is very dry and lightly gritty.

22oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of pine, orange peel and caramel. Nice citrusy bite with a toasted caramel backbone.

Pours a crystal clear yellow-orange, with a medium thick white head. Lacing left behind. Galaxy and falconer's flight hops give this bad boy a citrus and pine hop aroma. The taste features a good deal of hop flavors, will still remaining in check. Not to say it is sweet, but the hops certainly don't give it a bitter taste. Notes of citrus, lime, and peach in the taste. Mouth feel is watery, but good. It feels easy to drink. Overall, a good solid IPA choice with good flavor and aroma. It should be noted this is a review for batch number 04 (there are four batches at the time of writing). Each batch features a different variation of hops, although 3 of the 4 feature some falconer's flight.

Served in a 12oz snifter.

Second time around, bottle from the brewery, April 2016. (Batch 004)
Initial rating was closer to a 4, in August 2015.

Dark orange, lightly hazy with a drippy halo of lacing in the glass.
Aroma is earthy, a little sandalwood and caramel. For a west coast style IPA, this doesn't really deliver.

Taste is bitter with earthy dandelion greens, light caramel and building resiny hop bitterness in the background. Not a whole lot of hop flavor besides the earthy bitterness, but aside from that it's a decent IPA. Medium bodied with moderate bitterness, dry finish. Overall it's enjoyable enough, but there's not much hop potency on display here.
