12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of pineapple, mango, guava and other tropical fruits. Some caramel notes. Sweet tropical fruit taste with a resinous piney bitterness and toasted caramel backbone.

Pours a murky dark-ish orange with a finger and a half of off-white head. Good head retention, with a large ring of foam hanging around for quite a while. Lacing is scattered, but thick where it forms. Aroma is tropical fruits, papaya, mango, and tangerine. Flavor profile is more tropical fruits, with a juicy, plain citrus twist. Papaya, mango, orange, and clementines with a nice biscuit malt base that plays well with the hops. Just a zip of citrus juiciness, which refrains from any bitterness. Mouth feel is medium in thickness, with a fuzzy, semi-velvety texture. Overall, a very pleasant IPA. It really drinks like a solid NE IPA, although not quite as smooth as some of the world class examples. Very well executed beer.
