Poured off of tap at the Brewery. Smells of sage, rosemary, actually exactly as it is described. I really like the smell. Dry taste. Can taste sage! Herbal. Never had a gruit before. I like it.

Pours a dark red with a long lasting creamy red tinged head. Smells of fruit and herbs. Tastes herbal and fruity with a nice malt backing. Overall a nice gruit. I wish more breweries made gruits, if made well they are smooth and easy drinking.

Poured from a can. Very dark with a large tan head. Smell is pretty unique, spices, pepper, malt can't nail it down. Less carbonated smooth, earthy and herbal. This beer might be old, could not find a date on it.
