Pours black with a finger of dense khaki foam. Head retention is great. Aroma is light spices, with velvety milk chocolate, and smooth roasty, toasty malts. Alcohol is hidden. Flavor profile is lead by milk chocolate and followed by spices, which are medium in intensity. Roasty, toasty malts round out the back end. Mouth feel is medium in thickness, and falls a little short of a velvety texture, netting a rather uneventful texture. Overall, nice blend of spices and chocolate, with the spices never been overpowering or overdone.
