12oz can. No dating information found.
Cola brown colored body. One finger of beige head retreats to an interrupted cap and ring. Leaves behind some layered spots of lacing.
Aroma of espresso, chocolate, and vanilla.
Taste is overall sweet, with some dark bitterness from the coffee/espresso component. Chocolate and vanilla. Gets more espresso dominated in the aftertaste.
Carbonated mouth feel, but rather thin. Tries to have a dry finish. Higher ABV% is well hidden. Good carbonation.
Does good work with its components but not over-the-top.

Had on tap at the brewery. Very dark with a tan fluffy head and lacing. Smells of coffee, chocolate and malt. Flavors of espresso, chocolate, vanilla and malt. Very flavorful and smooth with the high abv hidden well.

Poured from tap at the Brewery in Kansas City. Very dark, beautiful. Laces extremely well. Smells of coffee and chocolate. Tastes of coffee and chocolate. Excellent beer. The high abv can’t even be noticed.
