12oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of sweet toffee, caramel, molasses and a light coffee aroma. Sweet chocolate, toffee, caramel and a coffee bitterness.

Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrival a one finger khaki head was present that quickly recedes to a ring around the glass. Body is a dark dark brown but opaque. Leaves fine lacing.
Aroma us basically straight up intense roasted coffee with a malty backbone if you will. If they did this without coffee as the menu implies then DAMN. Good job.
Taste follows the aroma with coffee dominating. A very roasty malt follows but there is essentially no bitterness. For a beer this is sweet, but it is pretty comparable to black coffee with a malt sweetness.
Feel is relatively light, but enjoyable. Quite attenuated which ales this very drinkable. The feel however isn't the main attraction.
Overall this is a fun porter! I think it doesn't have coffee in it but even if it does I enjoyed this. It is very "black coffee like".
