Had on tap at the brewery.
On arrivalbone finger of fine white head with some bubbles was present then slowly receded to a 1cm covering that leaves nice lacing.
Aroma is yeasty and similar to a big helles. Some spicy hops are present, but this is pretty simple. It could be a bit cleaner.
Taste is a bit better than the aroma with some crispy malts and again some spicy but mostly bittering noble hops. Could be a bit cleaner once again as it doesn't hide the alcohol as well as I'd like.
Feel is solid. Medium attention for a full mouthfeel with fine carbonation that makes this quite crisp. Despite the bigger beer it is quite drinkable.
Overall this wasn't super memorable and comes off as a strong pale lager, but it was pretty good. Technically my first pale festbier so maybe I just don't love the style.
