Very enjoyable stop. Good crowd and vibe on a Friday afternoon / Mid August.
Nice set up inside. Big long bar. Plenty of raider and normal height seating. Huge back room. Water cooler handy self serve. Display Tv with all monthly/ weekly music performers posted. Usual swag.
People behind bar very friendly and helpful.
Nice menu of appetizers and hand held as well as pizzas. We enjoyed a very generous Hummus / Veggie/Pita plate.
Beer on tap was pretty limited to lagers, the necessary Rochester cream ale and scotch anle… and a few IPAs/Pales. Nothing remarkable. But I’ve really enjoyed their cream ale in the past and enjoyed their Galaxy fwd hazy pale today.
All in all a nice stop near the Lake that has a solid local following and plenty of smiles accompanying plenty of pints. Worth a visit.

Very nice brewery with a cozy atmosphere with a nice long bar, tables, a few couches, and a fireplace. I don’t know why food is not an option to rate because they do have a small menu and their pretzels sticks with cheese on the side were great. They had 7 beers on tap with different styles of beers. 5 beers on tap were there usual but they also had 2 seasonal beers which were both very good they had a peach pale ale and a session ipa which I’m not sure why is seasonal. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I tried all their beer and liked every single one especially their NE IPA’s. I liked them so much I bought 2 grumbles. This place is very good and I will be retrying in the near future.

Very nice little place. Owner was super friendly and happy to discuss each beer as asked. Couches near a fireplace, lots of 4 top tall and short tables and a 50 foot long bar. Plenty of room, not overly loud and no TV. If I was a local this is a nice place to grab a beer and have a conversation!

I've visited here twice, back in 2016 and again in 2023. I remember liking it better back in 2016 - prices are much higher now (duh) and they seem to care more about the food than the beer, which was pretty uninspiring this past visit. At least 2-3 of the 8 beers we tried were mediocre to poor. YMMV.

Knucklehead serves six flagship beers, and often has at least one seasonal selection as well (at least until it sells out, which can happen in a matter of days). The flagship beers range from a crisp cream ale to a smooth stout, with plenty of other options in between. They also serve a cider produced locally, along with a small selection of wines from the Finger Lakes region.
They offer light fare such as paninis and baked pretzels, along with a homemade soup of the day, which is often inventive and always well done.
The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting with nice, high-end finishing touches and artistic flair. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are no TVs, so this feels more like a place to enjoy a great beer over a good conversation. A unique and enjoyable take on craft beer in the Rochester region - with a great range of brews, you won't be disappointed here.

Really spacious and well lit, with helpful staff ready to assist you. Good beer, but not a huge selection. Couches, bar stools and plenty of other places to sit. Overall, a very nice place to grab a drink.

Beers are exceptional. High quality ingredients. Belgian IPA ~9% ABV is great, the Scotch Ale and a special (U.S.) Stout they had at the time were very thick and delicious. Regular beers include a power punch ale and a kreme ale. Both very tasty. They usually have 6-8 beers at any one time, offering pints, flights of 4 or 6. It's the best beer I've had at any craft brewery in Rochester, and I've tried them all. The staff and clientele are good natured people. It's not a night club, so I'd considered the "vibe" more subdued.
