Copper filtered with little carbonation and 2 fingers of beige head.
Smells of hard water, apricots, and malt.
Tastes of malts, stinky foot, hard water and caramel.
Medium body with lots of foamy carbonation.
I got this in Sofia, Bulgaria, a couple days ago, and am drinking it in California today, April 9th, 2019. Decent brew, my first craft beer from Bulgaria.

Finally a beer that's different from the flavourless pale lagers widely available on the market in Bulgaria. Nice, malty character with caramel notes and gorgeous reddish colour. Yum!

Overcarbonated to a fault, and stale to boot, with a buttery diacetyl taste punctuated by unwelcome biscuit malts and neutral pale malts. Hop presence is minimal, and the lively yeast presence so desirable in a good real ale is absent here.
Oddly imbalanced yet also shallow and simple. Poorly built for an English ale (of any style) and unrefreshing, with a smooth, wet, and above all buttery presence on the palate that fails to elevate the beer - or to accentuate any note in the flavour profile aside from the diacetyl.
I'm happy to see more (read: any) craft beer on the Bulgarian market, but this offering from Glarus Craft Brewing can't even surpass Sofia's supermarket pale lagers.
