From draft at Swiftwater Brewing. Clear light yellow with no haze. Nice nose and palate of tropical fruit. Pleasant bitter finish. Certainly thirst quenching if otherwise unremarkable.

a nice ipa here, east coast style but very well refined, hazy but not heavy, very mellow and drinkable to me, nice and fresh tasting, and i love the little bit of cascade hops in the mix, some spicy, old school, assertive bitterness, even just for a flash, its a nice way to finish an ipa, and it compliments the juiciness of the other varietals well, i wish more of these would incorporate a bit of that, and it was a nice surprise on the swallow of my first sip here. this has a gorgeous white head on it an inch high or more from the can, a pale yellow color, very bright, and without any visible sediment particles. the aroma and flavor have notes of pineapple and pink grapefruit before the bitterness of the cascade kicks up at the end. some rawness to the grain, maybe unmalted wheat in the mash, which i like a lot, keeps this dry but gives it some fluff and softness. great carbonation here, very clean ferment, and a beer that hits both sides of the style pretty efficiently. its almost mild to me compared to many of its peers, more drinkable that way, a really nice introduction to this brewery for me. big thanks to my brother for sending this in a recent beer box, exceptionally good ipa flying what seems like under the radar, at least from here. i could have had a half dozen of these last night easy!

10th review, 2d of the brewer. First rate - again!
a) Scads of fruit sauce lace coat the snifter, over lasting, rimming head, over hazed golden body.
s) Grapefruit rind, crushed and juiced, flowershop, citrus blossoms.
t) The better bitter end of grapefruit, with floral blossom scents, a balancing pine, but all hops all the way.
f) Astringent, bitter that cleans the sweet, big.
o) If bright, grapefruit, sunshining, blaring flavors are your desire this one is up there on the fresh, juicy, floral range.

Pours cloudy, bruised rind aroma is noticeable, nothing offensive. Tastes hoppy, leaves a slight bitter aftertaste that doesn't linger much. Head left a film on the glass that wouldn't go away on its own.
