On tap at Swiftwater Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a moderately dark black, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like dark roasted malt, espresso, smoke, light hops, and chocolate.
This is really quite excellent. It's a collaboration with Roc Brewing, and it shows real brewing skill. There's lots of killer roasty character, with a surprisingly strong coffee flavor- considering there's no coffee added. There's a little bit of smoke, and not much residual sweetness at all. The hops add a small bitterness.
This is medium bodied, creamy and rich, with a good level of carbonation.
This is one of the best Swiftwater beers that I've ever had.
