Thick, viscous pour, near black and opaque in the glass; thick, lasting head, light brown, rich and creamy texture. Roasted and charred grain aroma; chocolate and mocha. Rich chocolate and roasted grain flavors; sweet; charred grain bitterness. Heavy body; dark stickiness; thick; low-key warmth.
This most definitely straddles the line between an Irish dry stout and double chocolate stout. I love it.

Black with a one-inch, dense, dark walnut froth that lasts five minutes. A fine coating of lace becomes spotty on the Swiftwater Anniversary tulip glass.
The aroma opens with chocolate and coffee and is followed by peanut butter and coconut. Dark-roasted coconut. Actually, each of these qualities is dark roasted and yet sweet.
The flavor hits all the marks noted in the aroma when it is fresh. The coconut gets lost after a few weeks in a can. It is well balanced with equally strong roast bitterness and sweetness. The finish is strong and quick. Warmth draws coconut to the forefront.
A full body and woolly texture. Alcohol is well below expectation. The carbonation is light and smooth.
As noted above, this beer is superior when fresh, but still enjoyable after a few weeks.

Nice beer but not particularly distinguished from many others of this style - could be a DuClaw adjunct laden beer or something like that. Smells nice and tastes okay but it's thin and lacking depth of flavor and doesn't really bring the advertised peanut butter much at all. Sweet but not cloying, enjoyable but won't have me running back anytime soon. There's a slightly fizzy soda-like feel to this beer which ultimately lets it down - a bigger, fuller feel would prop up the flavor and bring some much needed chewiness and body.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a half finger high dense light tan head that left a collar around the edge of the glass and a patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light aromas of coconuts and peanut butter are present in the nose, the latter of which gets a little stronger as the beer warms up.
T: The taste has flavors of milk chocolate along with notes of peanut butter. Hints of coconuts become noticeable as the beer begins to warm up.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and very smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: You need to let this beer warm up to let the taste fully develop and have a nice interplay between the chocolate, peanut butter, and coconut flavors.

On tap at Swiftwater Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This one smells like sweet creamy coconut, fudgy milk chocolate, a touch of peanut butter, and some light roast.
They absolutely nailed this one. The chocolate and coconut come through very well. There's only a little bit of peanut butter, though. That's fine with me. There's some light roast, and a great creamy vanilla character. This is probably the best stout that I've had from Swiftwater.
This is creamy and rich, fairly thick, with a surprisingly good level of drinkability. I could drink a lot of this.
This is really quite impressive.
