On tap at Swiftwater Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a mostly clear light amber color, with a small white head, and basically no lacing.
This smells like bitter dry hops and bready malt, and not much else.
I really don't understand the Brut IPA thing yet. Even with those points against it for me personally, I don't think this is a great rendition of the style. It's kind of chalky, and too bitter, and too dry, and malty. Nothing pops for me.
This is light bodied, with a big lingering bitterness, and a lower level of drinkability than I'd prefer. There's definitely no booziness, which I can appreciate for the higher ABV.
