With inspiration from the White Russian cocktail, this blonde stout contains lactose, coffee, vanilla, and cocoa nibs.

12 oz can
Pours a hazy golden with a snow white foamy two finger head that settles to a small topper that remains. Some decent lacing trails.
Nose is sweet lactose, coffee beans and vanilla.
Mouth is smooth and semi creamy with lactose , coffee, marmalade.and slight hoppy bitterness.
This is a nice blonde stout. Looks like an IPA and can feel the IPA wanting to break out of the stout suit. Would be really interesting to have this barrelled.

Nice aromas. Decent flavor though a bit sweet. Terrible mouth feel - wondering if it went partially flat in the can.

This beer is a Blonde Stout, and a pun on the movie reference, as it is a White Russian. The beer is almost clear amber, with a big, cascading, super-fine, creamy, white head. The head is long lasting, leaving a dense coating of fine white lace. Fine carbonation is also sporatically dispersed within the beer.
The aroma has a light smokiness with vanilla and coffee beans. A light roast transitions to faint cigarette ash. There is an interesting aroma of Toll House cookie dough as the beer warms.
The flavor somewhat follows the nose, accentuating dark roasted coffee and vanilla. There is some burnt malt with balanced light bitterness from the roast and sweetness. Warmth reveals Cool Whip.
A medium to full body with soft, smooth, creamy texture. Carbonation is fine and soft. Alcohol is well controlled.
This is a fun and interesting beer. I enjoyed it on tap at the brewery on a perfect Summer day. I have also had it from a can on occasion. Unquestionably, it is superior on draught.

A: The beer is slightly hazy golden yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high dense white head that died down a bit but never completely faded away.
S: Light to moderate aromas of coffee beans are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of burnt roasted coffee beans along with notes of vanilla and sweet hints of cocoa nibs.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and very smooth on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer makes for an interesting white stout. The burnt flavors seemed a tad off-putting, but it was very easy to drink and had an overall interesting taste. It is incredibly easy to drink considering its strength.

Not sure what happened with the nitro here but a hard pour failed to generate much head at all and the beer felt flat, with muted aromas, and just overall thin and lifeless. Flavor reminiscent of a watery diet cream soda. Didn’t enjoy this one much at all.

On nitro tap at Swiftwater Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a light clear blonde yellow color, with a foamy head, and not much lacing.
This smells like light and fruity coffee, some chocolate, cookie dough, caramel, and slight roast.
Like most of these blonde stouts, this is a bit confusing, but undeniably delicious. The coffee is done well, it's soft, chocolatey, and fruity, with some cookie dough type flavors as well. As it warms, it becomes a touch astringent.
This is creamy, but thin, due to the nitro delivery - I think this would be a lot better delivered the traditional CO2 manner.
This is a fun beer, and I mostly enjoyed it.
