On tap at Swiftwater Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells sugary and muddled, unfortunately, with cake frosting, artificial chocolate, molasses, etc.
I don't love this. It feels oily and artificial, and much too sweet. None of the adjuncts pop out distinctively as being their own thing, it just feels sugary. At the very least, there's no real boozy taste to this.
This is medium bodied, and slick and syrupy, with not the highest level of drinkability.
This is definitely a bit of a miss.
