On tap at Swifwater Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a very hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like pulpy orange, slight tartness, candied vanilla, pine, and lactose.
This is a solid take on the style, but it’s a touch derivative. It’s a touch too sweet, and I feel like the vanilla is too candy-like/artificial. It’s still tasty, but I’ve certainly had better milkshakes.
This is creamy and pretty drinkable, with a pretty full body.
Every brewery seems to want to do this style lately. This is a passable take on it.
