This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small foamy head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like cocoa powder and dark chocolate, dark fruit, and roasted and bitter malt.
This isn't quite quite the usual Mortalis game - it's more attuned to Swiftwater's style. It's not a complete chocolate bomb. The chocolate is definitely done well here, though, and plays well the hearty roast, and light tangy smokiness. There's some dark fruit, as well.
This is light bodied, clean, and very crisp, with a good drinkability to it. It does down quite easily.
This is (mostly) out of Mortalis' wheelhouse, and it was done quite well. These are two of my favorite local breweries.
