This one pours a very dark black color, with an extremely small/non-existent head, and a very small amount of lacing.
This smells like boozy peanut butter, coconut milk, milk chocolate fudge, sharp barrel, vanilla, and coffee creamer.
Although it seems a touch boozy on the nose, there's no real booziness on the taste here. The peanut butter certainly dominates here, with a sweet and caramelly nuttiness, along with chocolate fudge. I'd maybe want a bit more coconut, but it seems to have faded into the background with a vague sweetness. There's a touch of leathery and caramelly barrel, with a hint of booze spike, but nothing crazy. I wish I did, but don't, get any oak. There's some vanilla type flavors, and a very nice creamy flavor.
There's not much carb here, but it works fine anyway, with a thick and very sweet mouthfeel. There's barely any boozy bite here.
Swiftwater has been doing some great work for five years, and this is a good celebration of that fact. I don't imagine this will age well, but it's still wonderful.
