This one pours a dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells wonderfully nutty and sweet, with sweet cashew, chocolate fudge, creamy toasted coconut, and molasses.
This is easily one of the best stouts I've had from Swiftwater so far, up there with the best batches of Muncheez Truck. I don't know if I've ever had cashew in a stout, but it certainly works well, and plays off well with the coconut, adding some nutty earthiness, and a different sort of sweetness to the toasty and creamy coconut character. There's a lot of fudginess, some creamy vanilla-ish flavors, and a bit of caramel/molasses-ish sweetness.
This is creamy, and fairly richly-bodied, with a good drinkability, and no real booziness to it.
This was highly enjoyable.
