We threw in a bunch of malted oats and unmalted wheat to make it our softest IPA yet. It's hopped with a combination of Neo 1, Citra, and Mosaic. We get notes of lemon-lime, rainbow sherbet, and kumquats.

A: Pale lemon straw coloring with a weak, sudsy head. Cloudy visual, almost hefe-like, or neipa. Moderate carbonation details with no window dressing.

S: Nose of peaches and wet pineapple slices of decent strength. Wet, juicy and sharp but quick to fade off the tongue. Melon candy sweetness sneaks through along with some fruity cantaloupe.

T: Flavor was fruity and tropical, wet pineapple slices, mango and generous citra hops provide a citrusy bite. Some fruity strawberry. Malting tasted like oats, smooth, silky like, with some wheat like hefe highlights backing things up.

M: Mouthful was soft, malted wheat, with a touch of yeastiness on the tongue. Bright summer like body, but lacked the crispness and sharpness around the edges.

O: Overall an solid ipa, with a hefe-like malting, hoppy neipa with traditional fruity like hoppiness makes for a decent downer.

Can purchased from Swiftwater Brewing Company in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like lemon/lime candy and rind, melon, peach, and grassy hops.

This is really great batch of this beer. It has a super soft flavor and character, with sweet lemon and lime, some dry melon, stone fruit, and a soft and pleasant bitterness.

This is light bodied and very soft, with a great drinkability to it.

This is certainly one of the best IPAs Swiftwater has put out so far.
