On tap at Spotted Octopus Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a dark-ish brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells basically like banana city – there’s straight up banana but also banana bread vibes.
The banana forward yeastiness of this is kinda overwhelming. There’s some decent spiced and bready maltiness here, but it’s just a banana maelstrom.
This is light bodied, slightly creamy, and pretty drinkable, even with the heavy banana vibes.
This needs to somehow be dialed in a little bit, but I still enjoyed it.
