On tap at Swiftwater Brewing in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like watermelon, citrus, and some light breadiness.
I love the Swift Light series, especially guava, so I was happy to see a new (to me) variant of it. Watermelon is not an overwhelming fruit flavor, as it really is just mostly water, so it just adds some nice light juicy sweetness to a slightly bready and grassy light lager.
This is very light bodied, with a great drinkability, and high level of refreshing feeling.
I don’t drink a ton of this brewery any more, but this was a nice reminder of how much I used to enjoy Swifwater.
