Drinking from a can in to a pint glass.
Appears yellow amber, light white head.
Smells malty, but light, and Carmel.
Tastes slightly malt forward with a nice amount of sweet floral hops.
Tastes Malt forward with a nice hoppy balance.
Mouth feel is medium and enough carbonation to keep it lively.
Overall, I would drink again. Typically I keep some lagers and pilsners around for company during the holidays.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellowish amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down but consistently left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Faint aromas of caramel and toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a bit stronger flavors of caramel and toasted malts.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer seems to be less maltier compared to other beers in the style.
Serving type: can

Poured one and a half cans into a half liter stein a rich bronze color with a thinner but well sustained slight off white head atop.Caramel and sweet pizza dough mainly in the nose, not much of a hop presence detected.Somewhat sweet and caramelly upfront with a tinge of star anise, lightly drying leafiness in the finish although it is sweeter than many of the style. To me more like a fest marzen beer than a Vienna lager but not bad.
