We had this beer at a beer tasting event a couple of years ago and I have never forgotten it. We are both "Hopheads" and love our IPA's. I am very happy to see that Nickel Point is now dispensing this wonderful beer in cans. Found it at my local Total Wine today and jumped on it.
This beer has a slight citrus smell but the taste belies it. Is a little dark in my cup but has a smooth, not bitter taste. Poured with a slight head. Slightly malty but hoppy at the same time. Very very good taste.
Will definitely purchase again.
Beer Advocate needs to rate this beer. It is definitely worth purchasing. I purchased it because I had tasted it before.

Look: It pours a golden orange with an off white head. There is some haze. It has a moderate head and some lacing present.

Smell: The aromas indicate a moderate malt backbone of toast with citrus and pine.

Taste: It is sweet in the initial flavors that highlights the malt and toast. There are strong citrus and pine elements as the flavor continues.

Feel: It has a moderate feel to it with a moderately bitter finish.

Overall this is a moderate malt balance ale with citrus and pine flavors that is rather easy to drink.

Poured from can

L: Dark, burnt amber
S: Hot pepper and caramel candy
T: Not especially bitter. The hops are very tangerine-like. The malts deepen this flavor well and seem well-favored, but they may be slightly too heavy for my taste. I wouldn't call this IPA crisp.
F: Low-medium carbonation suits the heavier body. Guessing it's around 2.1.
O: I'm not blown away by this, but it has merit. I saw that the brewer makes an English IPA, and this might very well be an offshoot of their experience making that beer.
