Darker amber color with a haze. The head is so brief, I've seen sodas that last longer. It doesn't even leave rim bubbles. Naturally, there's no lacing either.
There's a smokiness to the smell. That and band-aids, which is distracting at best.
Looks like I'll be dumping this beer shortly. The band-aid presence (likely from chlorophenols) is too strong to allow me to finish the beer. In the deep background, I do pick up some malt sugars and darker biscuit-like chewiness. The body is watery and the carbonation is low. The aftertaste...let's just say I need something to clear my palate.
Clearly, something went wrong with this batch--it reminds me of a homebrew where the brewery lost track of the sanitation. Hopefully, this review can be tossed when other batches are tried by BA members. If the brewer doesn't fix it, I would assume my review might even be on the high side.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
