Color is cola brown with a tight, creamy tan head leaving thick sheets of creamy lace.
Smell is smokey but not overly phenolic, sweet malt, not too sugary.
Taste is pretty strait up smoked dopple, and like the nose, smooth. More phenols on the palate. Solid.
Mouthfeel is relatively light, which is great, with a little bit of stickiness. Perhaps a bit thin.
Drinkability is pretty good. Not my favorite style, but this is well executed. Balanced and smooth, which is impressive as it's the kind of beer that can be easily overdone with the smoke and sugars.
