Orange body, white head that fades into a foamy collar. Plenty of brett in the nose, lemon zest, grapefruit, hibiscus, and oak as well. Brett is the alpha and omega in the taste, oak is laced with it, the citrus is laced with it, I like brett but this tips a tiny bit over to the overkill territory. Feel is bretty... with some oak and general brightness, also very light after brett surge at the beginning. If you love a ton of brett to the point of no balance, this one is for you!

New batch. On tap. White head. Lightly cloudy golden color.

Brett funk and citrus. Zesty. White wine notes and wet oak. Grapefruit citrus and some strawberry. Brett funk is nice as it isn’t medicinal. Dry finish. Really solid.

This smells great, nice tropical pineapple brett esters. But from the nose, it's all downhill from there.
Matanuska Thunder Funk appears murky, tastes yeasty, hot, and vegetative, feels thick, and overall culminates into a generally disappointing effort. Good name, bad beer.
