Pours a deep golden color with a thick white head that lingers with some lacing. The smell has a hint of oak with some citrus hop and a spice note I can't quite place. Overall a nice smell but not overly abunfant. The taste starts with a chardonnay hint that gives way quickly to a hop forward taste that leaves some bitterness on the tongue but earthy oak notes finish as well. A nice carbonation bite accompanies the initial taste. Overall a very nicely done Belgium golden ale.
