Aged in bourbon oak barrels, this version of Monk's Mistress takes seduction to the next level. Its dark daunting flavors become more intense and more fascinating as they meld with toasted oak and its prior tenant. This temptation is completely beyond resistible and right. Succumb. Repent. Repeat.

3 year old bottle into a snifter
L: Inky black - aggressive pour produces a small tan head fading quickly to a collar
S: Bourbon dominates, oak, vanilla, some fruit in the back
T: Bourbon again, an aggressive sipper
F: Creamy, slick, still booze heavy
O: Had this upon release, the beer refuses to mellow, quite the experience,
