22 oz. bomber brought home from our recent trip to Anchorage. Shared with my lovely wife.

The pour is classic IPA, a dark orange mixed with a touch of fool’s gold. Not much of a nose: sweet, spicy. No cognac.

Winter Reaper is a solid wheatwine, of which there aren’t enough on planet earth (or Planet Earth if you’re a Simon fan). Very sweet with a tinge of old school/buy-by-the-pound candy. Mix of spices, slight alcohol influence, low levels of cognac & a finishing shiv of oak. Very dry, very drinkable if you’re into easy drunkenness.

Good beer but hoping for more barrel. Mmmmm.

Pours a semi cloudy dark amber with a thin white head.

Tastes of spicy brown sugar and Belgian yeast. A definite Cognac influence with no taste of alcohol and a mild bitterness. A medium-light mouthfeel and decent aftertaste.
