Pours a hazy golden yellow with a short-lived white head. Lacing is still pretty good.

Whoa, this thing is seriously hopped as there is a massive floral hop smell that dominates initially. There is a light wheat sweetness that you'd expect with a hint of spices, but the citra hops steal the show in the nose.

The taste is immediately bitter with the hops bringing a stinging citrus kick up front with some lemongrass and white wine. Again, the wit character is underneath with the sweetness of the wheat showing through a little. The finish is bitter, clearly dry hopped...a lot.

Despite being poured from a growler, the carbonation is strong and the body is generally light and effervescent.

This is probably the hoppiest witbier I've ever encountered. The citra hops are just so strong that it's tough to even call this a wit. Nonetheless, it's fantastic and one of the better wits I've tasted.

Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a one-finger white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.

Smells of large amounts of floral hops. Also present are soft spices, light malts, and wheat twang. Rounding everything out are light amounts of citrus hops.

Tastes similar to how it smells, though not quite as complex. Light malts with slight amounts of wheat flavors kick things off. Joining in shortly thereafter are earthy and somewhat leafy hop flavors along with mild spices. Midway through the sip the hop flavors turn more robust and carry through to a solidly bitter ending.

Mouthfeel is good. It's got a nice thickness with solid carbonation.

Drinkability is very good. I finished my glass quickly and could easily have a few more.

Overall I was very impressed with this non-traditional take on a wit. The floral notes are large and integrate well with everything else that's going on. Surprisingly the bitterness doesn't overtake everything else. Well worth a shot.
