My Wrd Tour quest continues.

A - Pours a very light, slightly hazy yellow with a nice white head that fades down to a thin film.

S - Corn, wheat and saki-like.

T - Sour corn and rice mash? The rice is definitely there.

D - Very light body with mild carbonation. A sour, almost fermented after-taste.

O - Glad to finally hunt a bottle down, but not very tastey.

Pours clear light hay gold with a scant head that dissolves to a wisp. Nose is sweet grain, weird fermented character. Mouth is strange, way drier than the nose, round fermented grain, vinous almost, bitter on the mid to back palate. This is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, and a great deal something else that I can't explain, almost a basic flavor on the flavor wheel that I don't know the words to. Dry fermented rice. Actually pleasant flavor profile. Very sharp carbonation. Many will not like this, but as Ricky from Trailer Park Boys would say, "Many can fuck off."

On tap poured into a tall straight sided glass at City Beer. Light golden yellow, clear with a finger of pure white fluffy head. Nice lacing on the glass as the head sticks around as a collar, fed by some light effervescent carbonation.

Nose is floral, sweet and fragrant, and a grassy aroma that is not familiar to me as it is somewhat savory. A decent amount sweet biscuit and white bread malt aromas as well.

Taking a sip, floral and grassy hops, light biscuit malts. After the initial bitterness, very light on the tongue, finishing dry and clean.

Light body and well carbonated with a crisp but pleasant amount of bubbles. Refreshing and easy to drink, while still providing some nice floral flavors.
