November 2015: Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Dark orange to brown colour, off-white head. Fairly nice hoppy aroma, hints of pine and grapefruit. Resin and hints of grapefruit in the flavour too, not bad at all. Has still a way to go to compete with the best American IPAs.

On-draught @ the brewpub in Kosovo. .4 litres for 1.5 euro. Reviewed from notes taken February 2016.
A: Quite good. Boasts a creamy frothy white head that leaves even coating lacing as it recedes. Retention is superb - ~7+ minutes.
Body is aptly a vibrant clear copper bereft of any visible yeast.
Appears well carbonated. It's a clean looking IPA, and while the overall appearance isn't unique or special, I do find it alluring.
Sm: Suggests a balanced but hop-forward IPA with vivid notes of citrus, floral notes, tangerine peel, and pale malts. They didn't seem to have overdone it in terms of Caramalt sweetness like so many inferior Balkan IPAs. Yeast profile is estery and fruity bit indicates proper clean attenuation.
Aromatic intensity is average.
T: A biteen too bitter, but I'll take that over too sweet in this style any day of the week. Has a nice emphatic hop presence with notes of ripe tangerine, citrus peel, floral character, and grapefruit. The pale malt backbone lends some balancing sweetness, though not quite enough to really dial this in. Hints of hop oils round out the brew nicely.
Flavour profile is adequately complex, though not impressively so, and boasts ample balance and sufficient depth of flavour.
Mf: A bit oily, which plays well alongside the hop profile. Smooth, wet, coating, Medium-bodied, somewhat refreshing. It is overcarbonated, but not to the extent that it's sharp or biting on the palate.
This texture is a nice complement to the taste, but fails to coax out additional depth if flavour or to elevate the beer as a whole. Well executed in any case.
O: Drinkable and enjoyable with a well hidden ABV. American and Danish hop fanatics may crave more extremism, but I find this a nice tame little IPA and a welcome departure from the usual Pilsner and pale lager schlock ubiquitous throughout the country and Balkan region. Definitely recommended when in Kosovo, and reasonably priced for westerners even if it's pricey in comparison to say, Peja.
