Das Growlenbier is brewed in the German Festbier style using 50% craft malt from Riverbend in Asheville and 50% malt from Weyermann malthouse in Bamberg, Germany. This creates incredible layers of toasty, crackery, and light caramel flavors, with a zippy bite of traditional German hops to keep it light in body and crushable for any German Party.

16oz can, adhesive label. Stamped date on label is 'CANNED ON 06/30/25'.
Clear, deep gold colored body. Nearly white head of two fingers in depth with the pour, and this settles back to islands and a thin ring. Active surface storm from rising bubbles. Leaves behind scattered small lacing spots.
Aroma of toasted malts, with caramel and grass.
Taste is toasted caramel malts with some grassy notes. Slight mineral note, with a hint of citrus lemon. Mostly all malty bits in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Smooth texture, with a clean finish. Slight hop bitterness. Good carbonation.
Malty, smooth, and sessionable.

From a can served near the brewery.
Made with a mix of German and NC malts with German hops, this has a traditional grassy aroma but a less grassy, very well balanced flavor.
Medium+ carbonation.
