Very nice color: looks like a muscadet or a dark white wine. Cute little foam. The smell: green apples, cantaloup, kiwis, yeast spicyness, green grapes. The taste is quite sweet, a bit too much to my taste, but there is some peppery notes as well. Nice carbonation, good body.

Bottle: Poured a dirty light beige color ale with a nice off-white foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral hay notes with some cereal and light peppery notes is refreshing. Taste is also a mix of floral hay notes with some rustic cereal notes and some subtle peppery notes. Body is full enough for style with good carbonation. Well-made and in-line with the label description – simple easy table beer for every day drinking.

Cloudy straw appearance in the glass, faintly turbid/slightly opaque. Thin, persistent white head, a bit of lacing.

Aroma of wheat and citrus, noble hops. Smells like an earthy/spicy saison yeast might have been used.

Lovely flavour -- slightly creamy mouthfeel (maybe some oats in the grist?), very smooth, well carbonated but not overly so. Perfect accompaniment to food. Refreshing citrusy zing with a nice level of hopping, noticeable but restrained. Aftertaste is crisp and wheaty. Highly drinkable.

Pushes the ABV a little for a table beer, 4% is somewhat out of range for the style in my mind, though there are abbey "singles" of similar gravity. I'd say this is reminiscent of St. Bernardus Extra 4, except better. Overall, a really pleasant and enjoyable lighter beer with plenty of flavour.

Pours hazy, kind of like ginger ale color a bit. Hints of citrus lemon in aroma. Flavor is light is lemon and Belgian yeast esters with some light pepper. Fills palate, very flavorful for a low ABV ale but at over 6$ a bottle, not prices accordingly IMO.
