Living to an age of sometimes over 120 years old, the YellowEye rockfish is prized on Alaskan recreational charters for its size and clean meat. As a beer, the YellowEye is clean and big with tropical hop notes from apricot to mango to passionfruit to peach. Yum!

An amber snow globe with chunks of suspended yeast; tight white head; excellent cap retention; heavy ring; bands of soapy lacing. Nose is pineapple, grapefruit and pine. Bitter citrus, tropical fruit and pine; firm malt base; grapefruit rind finish. Some stickiness in the mouthfeel; medium light body; moderate minus carbonation; no astringency. Overall, a pleasant long bitter citrus linger; some deduction for the appearance; otherwise, a solid tasty WCIPA style.

So while it may seem superlative to rate this beer 5 across the board, let me clarify that I mean it.
I am a member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas and am BJCP certified. I’ve won brewing medals (and judged competitions) on 3 different continents.
This is the best beer I’ve had. I had one, and then 3 more, l and then the next night I spent $40 on Uber’s just to come back and drink it again.
Flawlessly executed, in a state that’s built for superlatives. Buy a plane ticket and get this in your mouth.
