Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a clear golden color. Foamy white head dissipates at a nice pace leaving some stringy lace. The aroma had some spicy rye, some grass, subtle grainy sweetness and then some black pepper. The flavor brings all of the previously mentioned aromas together and bringing in a touch of herbal quality about it. Moderate spicy sort of aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionabilty about it. Decent carbonation. ABV felt as appropriate as the brewer projected. Overall, nice rye beer worthy of having many more pours if I could get it again.
